The University of Oklahoma Admissions and Recruitment team sought to welcome students and congratulate them in a more engaging way than the typical admissions folder. The result is the Admission Box, which is filled with the official acceptance letter, information about the university, and post-admission steps. The box distinguishes OU's admission packet from the rest.
After studying feedback from OU's first Admission Box, I worked with the communications team to design the box for 2017-18 admits. I simplified the outer appearance of the box to include an address label personalized with the student's name and created the inside box illustration, which is modeled after OU's football stadium screen. The box was an overwhelming hit! In a survey of 2,418 admitted students, 94% said they liked or loved their admission experience at OU.
